sundirect troubleshooting methods

List of trouble-shooting methods

E16-4 SERVICE IS CURRENTLY SCRAMBLED

      If ur validity expires or unsubscribed u will get this error message on screen,try to recharge ur account to solve this problem.

E04-SMART CARD FAILURE 

     Remove out the smart card from ur set top box gently,clean the sim part with soft cloth and reinsert it to the box again

E52-NO SIGNAL

      Reconnect the signal wire and check it.

E30-4 SERVICE IS CURRENTLY SCRAMBLED

      It may due to not using the DTH for long months, or else Ur using Ur smart card to some-other sun direct set top boxes.

Other Problems

SUNDIRECT SET TOP BOX NOT WORKING

  1. Unplug the power wire and reinsert
  2. check the LED light is glowing ,if it does not glows or glows constantly in a single color           there might be a problem in STB.

SUNDIRECT REMOTE NOT WORKING

  1. Open the rear panel of remote control,check if batteris are inserted
  2. it problem persists,check to see for proper connection of batteries
  3. it remote control still does not work,replace the old batteries with new ones
  4. ensure thers is no obstacle between the STB/TV/LCD unit
